When COVID-19 hit, we had to reimagine our largest event of the year, Unleash the Holiday Cheer. To continue the work and satisfy this event's mission, we wanted to create a fund as an extension of this event while we were unable to meet in person. While we weren't able surprise those families that year as we've done since 2016, we really wanted to keep the tradition of sponsoring the pet adoption fees.
It is also imperative to know that 100% of these funds go to the cause, sponsoring pet adoption fees for active-duty military and veteran individuals and families.
We are thrilled to announce that we have added this official Military Pet Adoption Sponsorship Fund to help our military community with the support of donors.

Military Pet Adoption Sponsorship Fund Donation Request
All Military or Veteran individuals who request a “Military Pet Adoption Sponsorship Voucher” must adhere to all rules and regulations for a 100% donation, in the amount you paid to the 501c2 rescue organization, shelter, or center at the time of the pet adoption.
Not all rescue organizations, shelters, or centers will want to approve a 100% sponsored adoption fee. All Military or Veteran individuals requesting a pet adoption with a Traci’s Paws’ Military Pet Adoption Sponsorship Fund Voucher must contact the rescue organization, shelter, or center in advance to ensure the organization will adopt, knowing the fee will be given back to the adoptor, before proceeding with the adoption.
We will confirm all information on the voucher is accurate and complete before submitting your donation.
Please provide the organization a copy of this letter and voucher at the time of adoption or after your December 2020 adoption through the present to have completed before submitting to Traci's Paws. Click the photo below for a complete list of details, rules & regulations, and the voucher.
Below is a list of organizations of a few of the organizations that will accept the Traci's Paws' Military Pet Adoption Sponsorship Voucher. We know there are many more, but have not confirmed with the request form that has been provided to each rescue organization. We will add more organization logos as they provide us with their completed forms.
