80's Senior Prom Style!

Lexi is in her final stage of Leukemia, and will be celebrating her final birthday with the public and their dogs for the best and most hip doggy birthday party in San Diego! There will be an 80’s themed costume contest for owners and their pets, DJ Mandy Mixes spinning 80’s tunes, and plenty of treats and prizes for pets and their owners.

We kicked off the event with a Pet Photo Contest on Facebook, comprised of 14 rescued dogs vying to become Lexi’s Prom Date.

 

The lucky winner is Morty, from Frosted Faces Foundation and will escort Lexi to her prom, and will be crowned Prom King!

 

Morty and his mom win a  Puppies Make Me Happy prize pack, 1 week of free meatballs sponsored by Woof Woof Meatballs, a mini-photo shoot for the winning pup with Lexi sponsored by Audrey Ricks Photography of Sunsets Uneased, and the grand prize, an $1800 donation to Frosted Faces Foundation! raci’s Paws is the first 501c3 nonprofit organization founded for “Pet Rescue Assistance” to assist rescue organizations and increasing their adoption success rates by facilitating adoption events, fundraisers, humane education classes, pet food & bedding drives, pet therapy (and more) and also assisting the community to help keep pets in educated & loving homes and out of shelters.
