Military Vet Care Sponsorship Fund
In the previous 8 years through Unleash the Holiday Cheer and with the help of amazing donors, Traci's Paws sponsored pet adoption fees and helped save approximately 300 homeless pets by uniting them with military and veteran families.
In 2024, due to the overwhelming rehoming requests we've received in general, not from our families we sponsored adoption fees for, we decided to focus on pet families staying together instead of creating new pet families.
This way, the pets in need facing rehoming can receive FREE vet care and remain in the home they already know and love instead of going to the shelter, a rescue, or new home.
Thanks to a partnership with San Diego Humane Society's Community Vet Program, we've been able to provide $350 vouchers for vet care to these families.
We hope that in 2025, we will be extending this to all families facing economic hardship and working with 2 additional partners for spay and neuter as well as low-cost dentals.
